@Jabatheblob1 plants were not the first organisms LOOLOLOLOL they are cokplex multicellular organisms. In fact Angiosperms are younger than mammals😂. The first organisms were Archeae. @hugosacalxot6206 yes I know and that was my aswer to you claiming they were bacteria, by using an obsolete taxonomic cathegory. I will releat, they were Archaea, one of the 3 domains of life (Archaea, Bacteria, Eukarya)

@insightfultoaster2965 animalia, plantae, protista, fungi, eubacteria, archaebacteria. my school system decided to nonsensically teach both that archaea and bacteria are not in the same domain, and still use the system of kingdoms that calls them archaebacteria. Kingdoms are an obsolete term in biology actually, as they are generally paraphyletic and polyphyletic groups (protista are unrelated organisms, plantae cluster with certain green algae, et cetera) Edit; but at least they acknowledged that Archaea are closer to Eukarya than Bacteria. Your school taught you only the kingdom bacteria or what o.o?

@AngelArm1110 no, they also produce it at night as well as during the the reactions with atp. But the overall amount of CO2 they consume is bigger than what they emit.
