  5.  @ashy_inking1476  we should all understand that people dont need to embody a stereotype to be sapphic, but after that is established, i think saying “look gay” is ok in a lot of contexts. It’s all context dependent and sometimes people take such expressions too literally (e.g. “She looks so gay” = “and if you dont look like that then you aint gay”). its kinda like “oh he doesnt look like a goth because he doesnt dress in stereotypical fashion” , but said guy does listen to goth music, and thus is a goth. We can discuss where the line of “ok to stereotype” goes exactly, but cant get rid of this way of thinking fully ever, because patterns are how se orient outselves in the world, see connections, learn, etc, We cant get rid of it fully, as anything else would overload out brains quickly. this is why i stress assuming “critically”.
