almost all electronics, textile, shoe and other companies use child labour and factories that dump toxic waste directly into nature. Thats why its all made * in indonesia and similar. You should look up the Citarum river

but anyways, I wouldnt say most, but a lot of things yes. Tho theparts or eaw materials likely still come from elsewhere. Exogenous production is not really the main issue tho, its surely more ideal to have a local economy, but theres various certificates. Food, tech and other products w certificates of sustainsbility, ethicality, etc are more expensive too.

@user-ck9zg5rh4p I dont think apple should be banned, but their tyranny needs to be limited, w the not including chargers, trying to make jailbreaking illegal, etc and as w all businesses, both environmental and human rights requirements should be raised a lot

I didnt say android is better lel. Ive had 1 microsoft phone, 3 androids and now an iphone se 2. So I dont care about that as far as pollution goes Samsung is actually worse than apple, and likely android as a whole because it lasts shorter leading to more waste. But thats to software support etc

I didnt propose certificates as an ideal solution, far from it, Im in favour of local production, just wanted to say that in essence buying exogenous products w certificates would purely via trend gradually lead to less destruction. So even w all the lying, there would still be a positive trend. Surely that involves negleting ones own interest too But as I say I do support buying local over certificates lol, just exogenous production without them is statistically the worst, hence the main issue
