I can not imagine keeping a vehicle roadworthy on my limited fixed income with speedily shrinking buying power. I am land rich and car in disrepair now, and I feel VERY lucky to have purchased off grid property while it was available to poor people.

@zhaw4821 seriously? Is this ironic sarcasm? You’re SAFE. Not threatened by arson from someone who may object to you parking in their pretty city. Not towed away when the vehicle you live in has repairs needed.

@playhooky Being in sticks and bricks IN A PROGRAM is one step down into Hell from the basic STUCK structure. Being “ managed” in a program is not an attractive choice for my healthy life.

@LynetteMcGrath These are the lucky ones. Nomad/ living in cars a mindset attitude construction depending on individual creativity/ genius budgeting DOES happen of necessity. Or: lacking the miracles needed to stretch impossible budgets, a temporary time out from Superhero mode can make people parked near unfriendly fire starters vulnerable to sudden collapse.

@gigigiseleworld It warms my heart that you see this too! When FOOD has become unaffordable, due to the lack of paper ballots ensuring government by cheaters-only. We are being strangled and squeezed purposefully, methodically by those who have bought legislation that gives .01% of the population the right to 99% of the money. Biden refused to tax them fairly despite saying he would. CPS confiscates children from poor families for distribution to the wealthy

@happycook6737 This no longer works. Butter costs $14.99 per pound. Eggs $12.00/ dozen. Cabbage and onions level diet at those prices. “ saving”, frugality, are luxuries from times without this inflation.

@alexthehomboi I felt lucky to have been able to buy property for $18K 40 years ago. Same lot now goes for $500,000 today. Rich people buy them.

@FourHuskyHomestead Zoning restrictions are making these property sharing situations illegal. RV parking is being made illegal. RENTALS of RV’s to homeless people are becoming illegal! Poor people camping in public are magnets for crime.

@zhaw4821 You said you are “ stuck” in a single family home? Wow! You SERIOUSLY wish you could be out driving around, Parking, sitting in a car during 120 degree summers? I was just wondering if your longing to be living out on the road instead was a sarcastic joke?
