As the runner-up he was determined that the Dem nominee have the best possible chance to beat Trump, who was certainly the worst candidate for president in my lifetime, and I'm 81 y.o. ! That meant giving a fine speech at the '16 Dem convention to endorse H.C.'s nomination by acclamation (please consider reading it), then with his folks working with her folks (and the DNC reps) creating the most progressive platform in the party's history. Then he went out and held 39 rallies in 13 states to try to help her win the presidency. She was the only firewall left against Trump! I don't know of any other runner-up who has done more for the nominee. I admire him greatly. I maybe could have held a grudge. He would not. #NotMe.Us
