Am 83 y.o. now, and I do wonder if the ad you mention might be the powerful "Bernie Sanders and Civil Rights in Chicago" that is still available on You Tube. Lovely to read your family's reaction!! I was living in Chapel Hill, NC, in 1963, and saw the Chicago newspaper photo of him, 20, ankle-shackled to a young Black woman and being helped to the ground by a policeman for marching against segregation. It was the way I first learned of Bernie. and I've followed and admired him ever since. NotMeUs.
