Bobby Fischer What an unfortunate, surprising post. Especially disappointing on a veterans' site. If Bernie working to help 40,000 homeless vets doesn't move you, maybe the video, "Bernie Reunites with Veteran at Emotional Town Hall," will? I am 81, the mother of a Marine, the sister-in-law of a late paratrooper in Korea, niece of a late Marine and his bride (a nurse "who served in every Hell Hole in Europe"), with other military relatives back to a lowly private from Virginia who repeatedly fought for "us" in the American Revolution. Bernie is our best hope for support to our veterans, as he has been for all the years he's been in the House and Senate. I hope you will vote for him in your primary. #NotMe.Us

Curous One I love it that two national vets groups know about Bernie's work! The VFW honored Bernie as its "Man of the Year" a while back, & the American Legion, too! He doesn't care as much about such awards as we do...wanting to see him recognized for all his good works for vets over decades!

@OOnti-dz4jd 1) Ali--the fighter & so much more--autographed his book for my young son. He would not approve of your attacks on Bernie, who is not & has never been a commie or coward. Every word you write displays your lack of education about him, more would call it ignorance. 2) Bernie does not get pushed around, & he was not pushed around by the two young women at that rally. They wanted to speak, & he graciously stepped back to permit them to do so. Bernie is a gentleman at the same time as he is a lifelong warrior on multiple issues to help All of Us.

bjram tahiri America pretty well knows now that Trump cares only about himself and his cronies. I'm 81, could never have believed such a person could be our POTUS. An Illinois native, I've admired Bernie since 1963 when he was a college student activist protesting segregation in Chicago. He's been a consistent anti-war, pro activist for veterans in all his years in the House and Senate, ever since voting against the Iraq war. It's 2/10/20 now, 1st Primary tomorrow. #NotMe.Us

@livedsemoc3632 The junior senator from little VT won 23 states and more than 13,000,000 votes to be runner-up to H.C. in '16. He then campaigned hard for her, across the nation, 39 rallies in 13 states. "Stepping down for Hillary"? No. He did write a book, Our Revolution, which climbed to #3 on the NYT Best-Seller List and was also published in China, England, France, Germany, Serbia and South Korea. He does have a home in Burlington, where he served four consecutive terms as mayor. He has a place in D.C. since being in Congress (House, now Senate). A family inheritance helped acquiring the more recent lakeside house, nice with 4 children and 7 grandchildren. "Switched to the Democrat party"? No. Bernie has always been an Independent. It's a shame you spend time spewing untruths. Worse that others then have to take time to correct you because your untruths cannot stand. #NotMe.Us

Please learn more about him, consider a look at the videos, "New Hampshire Veterans for Bernie" or "Veterans and Seniors Town Hall with Bernie" There are others that would also be enlightening. From all the possibilities, he has even been named Man of the Year by two veterans groups in separate years, VFW and the American Legion. I'm 81 now and believe this the most important Election of my lifetime. Bernie is the strongest to be our #46. #NotMe.Us
