6/25/22 now. Just saw your post for the 1st time. My reply is, "Most don't." Those who do have not yet learned of his life's work for All of Us...and/or don't have friends and relatives to tell them about him. I'm an Illinois native, and the You Tube, "Bernie Sanders and Civil Rights in Chicago," is an informative first step. He is a well-documented, well-respected leader in our civil rights efforts ever since 1963. NotMeUs.

@DontKnowACoolName 6/25/22 That's not quite his quote. Sen. Sanders advocates for "free tuition at public colleges and universities." As a public university grad and retired staffer, I appreciate his call and support him 100%. NotMeUs.

@eastonwilliams1722 Senator Sanders is a Democratic Socialist (which is different from "Socialism"). He supports public schools, public roads, public libraries, ETC. The "crime" is your calling such good works "a crime." NotMe.Us.

@delaran6243 6/25/22 now. Just read this for the 1st time. Wanted to "say"-even at this late date- how much I agree with your post...and still appreciate it immensely. An Illinois native, now 83, I first learned of Sanders in 1963 from a Chicago newspaper photo showing a policeman "helping" him to the ground for marching to end segregation. He was a poli sci undergrad at the U. of Chicago then. After re-election as mayor of Vermont's largest city, then a re-elected U.S. Representative and now in his 3rd term in the US Senate, Bernie continues to fight on-smart and hard- for better lives for All of Us. I will always feel he should right now be into his 2nd term as our POTUS.
