  2. Scott Will My guess/hope is that there is no contact...that Johnson was just trying in yet one more way to glorify his "status," whatever.... On the other hand...if there is such a contact, that person does need to be fired!! Time is narrowing, quickly, and with much promise earned. Way too much at stake to absolve such a leak at this point.

  3. kosys I'm 81...and Me, too! I first learned of him from two Chicago Sun-Times photos that ran in August '63, and are recirculating now. One is on a t-shirt in his store. In 1) two policemen are dragging him off to jail--the NAACP got him out the next day. In 2) he is ankle-locked to another protester--young, female, Black and already on the ground, where he is headed. He was a poli sci undergrad at the U. of Chicago then, a member/leader in CORE and had found his life's work early as a champion for civil, economic, environmental, gender, racial and social justice...and for peace. There's a truly fine You Tube piece that you might enjoy, something like "Bernie & Civil Rights in Chicago." #NotMe.Us .

  5. Debra Smith I mostly think it's important to correct every error we can that's "out there." This show had 27,071 views and 742 comments. It just seems very possible that some of the bad stuff therein could easily get circulated to others...and on it then goes. I'm glad David addressed JJ...and his problems...in part as a warning if we see him again. And, we also got the opportunity to express our support for Bernie, yet again, so that was a plus, too! ;-)
