  1. I really appreciated your post...and agree w/ you 100%. I've had a similar wish (and hope) for years. To me, your description sounds "spot on" ...to fit Sen. Bernie Sanders. Precisely. An Illinois native, 84 now, I first learned of Bernie from a 1963 Chicago newspaper photo still available on You Tube as (something like), "Bernie Sanders and Civil Rights in Chicago." He was arrested for marching against segregation...hauled off to jail...and the NAACP got him out the next day. Later, he was the thrice re-elected mayor of Vermont's largest city. Then a very strong voice for Vermont and All of Us in Congress, first as a US representative, currently in his 3rd term in the US Senator. Now, I truly believe we need him in yet another role, "More, in '24...President Sanders". Well... that's my "soapbox" for today. #NotMeUs.
