That company scares me more than most. A massive piece of the global food supply is being actively controlled and manipulated by this single private family that we know basically nothing about. It's like if the Bush family never got directly involved in the political system.

@someguy2135 You think that saves money? A whole food plant based diet almost 4 times more expensive than these meats per calorie.

@someguy2135 If the diet is dried rice beans and corn that would make sense. Buying whole organic food plant food of any variety is extremely expensive on a per calorie basis. A pack of hotdogs is pound for pound cheaper than the same weight in eggplants or asparagus, and such.

@someguy2135 The price for eggs is relatively consistent across the globe(sans the price gouging they did in 2024). Dairy I hate to talk about because the American already has enough cheese sitting in literal caves that could feed all of North America if they actually cared to.
