@danielleo6855 Also racism. Black and Hispanic people were spared from the pre covid opiate death tolls. Since racist medical staff refused to give those drugs to people they thought would "abuse" them.

Thank Utah for the deliberate deregulation of vitamins and supplements.

Taking heroin to avoid the withdrawals from heroin is the primary driver of consumption. Which is the best business model you can get.
7
A poisoned supply chain is running rampant in the U.S. but at least it's making a few people richer. Which in a capitalist system is what really matters.
5
My takeaway from this video is to buy stock in the company that makes Narcan. Goodluck drug users. At least your sacrifice has made the Sackler family rich.

Millions of people took pain killers because of a deliberate capitalist ploy to market corporate grade heroin as "pain management©". Knowing a guaranteed percentage of those users would become compulsively addicted. Which is on S tier business model. And since a capitalist corporation did it instead of another nation. It was allowed.

Bad take.
2
Yeah but that was poor people so no one cared
2
@Robert_McGarry_Poems Capitalist efficiency. Sell something that Makes a problem and sell the solution. We love for profit healthcare don't we folks.
2
@sd-ch2cq Yeah and that heroin was/is used to destabilize Iran and Europe. It hardly made it to the U.S market. During the height of Afghanistan heroin production Mexico went from making 0% of the world's opium to 10%.

Shame in America that would be considered spooky communism.
1
@scottmaclean436 Capitalism deliberately pushes that stuff onto people so you cope in a way that doesn't threaten the status quo.
1
@thecactusman17 opoids as pain management is a literal scam pushed by a family that got rich launching a literal opium war on America.
1
@jeremygregorio7472 The medical establishment didn't give a shit about using opium to get people to work until this century. Specifically because the owners of the healthcare industry were lobbied by opium pushers to make opium a much larger part of the medical lexicon. Specifically to push sales.
1
It's almost like war. Where the weapons is a type of opium. An opium war if you will. Good thing there is no historical cases of that kind of thing being done. This is definitely the first time such an event occured.
1
I see the opium was successful in purging your friend group. I hope you can find solace in your friends sacrifice making the Sackler family rich.
1
Purdue pharma literally doctor(and hospital) shopped to find people with MD's willing push an obvious lie about pain management. All for the sake of profits. Capitalism has successfully launched a literal opium war on Americans and America is too capital brained to even see it.
1
E.g never for take home use. Which makes absolute sense in a medical context. But is down right communism when a corporation is trying to move a product that just happens to be addictive heroin.
1
@shadowprince4482 Numbness of pain receptors is a type of euphoria. Just not for you.
1
Capitalism is why
1
Capitalism is what makes your life worse
1
Well duh. America is still super racist
1
That is a very small subset of people. Since most(probably all)drugs tend to damage brain function when you abuse them.
1
@cochi8028 cool. Remind me, is "lots of drugs" what's killing so many Muricans? No. It's corporate opium and then it's fent based alternative. There aren't a lot of alive long term users of the stuff for a reason. Fent literally changes your brain. Not for the better.
1
It's not complicated. Those prescription drugs were intentionally pushed to make a few people incredibly wealthy.
1
Found the pill popper. Murica had a opium war launched on it. Since it was done by Capitalists. The state is trash at responding. Since the state serves the interest of capital.
