  1. That is a how a holdings company works. Anytime a hint of competition comes up. Alphabet inc just uses their access to capital markets to buy out the competition. Then do nothing with whatever you bought because holdings companies are trash at developing other than monopoly control.

  3. Google hasn't produced a decent product in over a decade. Google is a holdings company that can't innovate. This is no different. Add AI to the pile of fads goggle threw their monopoly money at for a few years. Until goggle realized they can't make anything anymore and just stop. Pathetic business by google as usual.
