It's very easy to get a job today. What's always ignored is those jobs deliberately don't pay well enough to justify the toll they take on the actual worker. People don't favor buying from global brands. Global brands have more capital than you so they can seize the majority of the market via consolidation and anti competitive practices(specifically to crush people like you when you try to fight the big dogs). Maybe if you ever meet the owners of multi billion dollar businesses you'll learn that. But it's doubtful.

Having to sell yourself for a wage to live isn't solved by becoming a wage slaver yourself. The second largest economy on Earth is one the U.S is the People's Republic of China as lead by the Chinese Communist party. Marx is taking over global production. We need to take the balance of power away from massive concentrations of speculative capital and put it back in the hands of the people whose work actually produces wealth. Which workers can only do by organizing in a union so they can be in a position to actually control the production those rich people seized control of. Otherwise monopoly consolidation will keeping taking everything in your domestic markets. Regardless of what anyone who isn't in the 1% of owners "want". People don't favor buying international brands. International brands own the markets where people can buy. Huge difference. Which you would know if you had to compete against them for that market share.

The Western economy is just a series of major oligopolies. They are the international brands and they are bought because they own the market. What people favor is literally irrelevant. Which you notice the second you want a phone that isn't apple or android(google).
