The government let Facebook use that land for a data center because Facebook is a global spy system for the U.S. The 4th amendment only(sometimes) protects U.S citizens. If someone in India uses WhatsApp to talk to someone in Laos. Facebook has that data saved. Data the U.S state can access whenever they want. That's a kind of mass spying J. Edgar Hoover couldn't dream of.

  3.  McFlickers  I mean, any nation that has a security exchange agreement with the U.S can buy any of this data. So the U.K, France, Israel, India, Australia, Japan, Canada, etc can all buy any of the massive amounts of data being harvested on us all.
