@RM-el3gw Found the Murican

Your nation isn't collapsing. It is being recolonized by international capital. The mining industry is returning reliable profits every year since independence.
8
It's almost like economic inequality was explicitly avoided when the post Apartheid government was formed. Probably because they were told if they touched the economic system SA would be locked out of global trade.
4
@kallekula84 No he didn't. This isn't something you solve by voting differently/harder. If SA actually got a political party in power which actively put the welfare of the SA rabble population over the profit interests of the global capital which owns most of SA. All that would happen is SA would be put under international sanctions. SA belongs to major capital investors you've never heard of. That's not the fault of a political party. It is the trade off SA made to not have any ethnic civil war propped up by the same western capital that owns your resources.
4
Lol SA has been colonized by global capital and SA is the only African nation to not notice.
2
South Africa was so racist they disarmed their nuclear weapons arsenal to keep black people from having nukes.
2
@tosspot1305 Capitalism obviously. SA has been colonized but since it isn't racialized colonial domination SA is totally blind to it. Which means plenty of years worth of profits from those mineral mines can flow to western financial institutions until the SA's wise up to it.
2
The mining industry is still plenty profitable for those of us that own it thank you. Those mine can run just fine even if you domestic rabble eat grass to avoid starvation.
2
Vietnam and Cuba are your only models of hope away from your current problems.
1
@theonlylauri BEE impacts filthy wage slaves like you. They don't matter to the rich. Meanwhile the mines are owned by international investors. Investors who only care about ever greater profit and mines that can run just fine while you eat grass to survive. The U.S will sanction SA if SA decides all the gold SA is standing on didn't go to foreign nationals.
1
Bro the difference between the U.S and SA is in the U.S what SA calls corruption is legal.
1
@krissp8712 It should be a corporate monopoly.
1
@KatsuMitsu Lol he lives in an American suburb and has never left the Anglosphere
1
Come to America. Where we cannot guarantee your kids safety in their school.
1
Lol global capitalism marked SA for colonial wealth extraction as soon as the nuclear weapons were taken away. Your options are to go against global capitalist interests(which is spooky communism) or live an increasingly atomized precarious life under the rule of absentee landlords whose only goal is maximum wealth extraction.
1
@TheRangerman00 Well youtube comment are majority morons who are totally blind to the role global capital plays in nation states serving the global rich over their own domestic population, so that checks out.
1
@BigHenFor Lol you have never been in a position of wealth or power and it shows. It's not about character. Any politician that didn't sell out to global would be killed. It's pretty strait forward.
1
No it isn't. Global capital only needs SA just safe enough that the valuable minerals can be safely exported out of SA. The locals in SA can live like the locals in the DRC.
1
Obviously a new government will do the same. Global capital offers the same deal to new governments. Sell your state to international capital speculators(and you will be personally made rich), or go against the whims of global capital(which means assassination or sanctions)
1
If Mandela had tried to challenge the economic class system he would have been assassinated. If he couldn't be killed, the west would have locked SA out of global trade via sanctions.
1
Replace them with anyone except communists and you will get the exact same problems. Replace your government with communists and SA will get locked out of global trade.
1
The private sector already controls all the valuable resources in SA. At this point the only goal of the private sector is to keep maximizing wealth extraction while making sure filthy plebs like you don't go and mess up that wealth extraction.
1
@karols432 The free market is very pro poisoning anyone who challenges monopoly based wealth extraction.
1
God will not save you. Cuba's model can. SA has a choice. Sell out everything to global capital(which you are told to call corruption). Or fight for national prosperity and be sanctioned by the U.S for insulting our capitalist overlords. That choice is yours.
1
Global capital has marked your nation for colonial extraction. Your only hope is to rise against the capitalist system that will have you eating grass to survive by 2040.
1
That's because the rich are one common factor when nation states serve global capitals profits over the nations literal population.
1
By the way the most important parts of your bike are owned by wealthy speculative investors in other nations. If you try to claim those bike parts for yourself you will be assassinated.
1
What you call corruption is just global capitalism doing what it does in every nation they want to colonize. The nation state serves the financial interests of the wealthy. Regardless of how negatively it impacts the populations of that nation state. The ANC was told don't touch the economic status quo or SA would be sanctioned by the west. Your mines can run just fine while you all live in poverty. Which is all international capital that owns most of your nation cares about.
1
@Muhluri I'm stating reality. No argument required. Since Filthy poors like you don't need to be convinced or even told about our plundering of your resources. The private industry that makes profit for international capitalist investors aren't hampered by mafia or regulation. We are the mafia that the mafia that exploits you can't mess with, regulations are written by our lawyers abd enforced(or ignored) by our courts. What you call corruption is just those rulers putting my wealth accumulation above something as trivial as your welfare as a citizen.
1
Voting harder won't change that the majority of your nations valuable resources are owned by global capital that literally only see your nation as a spread sheet to maximize wealth extraction.
1
They deserve worse
1
Your leaders are global capitalists. But you are blind to what they've been up to in your nation. So you instead blame the only institution your corporate masters tell you exists. The government, e.g the only institution that makes any pretense to being accountable to you.
1
You would need a communist revolution. Any other government will sell out to global capital.
1
That is how capitalist wealth accumulation works. The rich get everything while poors like you blame other poors for the crimes of the rich.
1
@gatewaysolo104 get back to work wage slave.
1
Your capitalist overlords appreciate your ignorance. Keep blaming the state while capital sucks the bone marrow out of your nation.
1
What you call madness is just par for the course deals when global capital wants to colonize a nation.
1
They are communists and they will absolutely not get free advertising.
1
Lol no it wasn't. SA is being recolonized by global capital. That's only considered destruction if you aren't an owner in the mines your nation stands on.
1
Sure. Make SA into a series of Bantu stands owned by the corporate interests of that area. One for Mining, another for agriculture, one for Industry, and one for finance.
1
What Haiti and SA have in common is that their strategic resources are owned by private capital.
