  15.  @tribblier  100% wrong. When the Ireland becomes wholly Irish again (by whatever means work) that is simply justice. If a whole Ireland then invades whatever is left of the U.K. Takes control of all the U.K land. Then Ireland spend the next several hundred years using the Brits as guinea pigs to sacrifice on the alter of the lord god called markets. That would be ironic punishment. RoI would still be better than the British. If after all that. The Irish continue to rule the British for a delusional attempt at cultural and imperial relevancy. Then yes, at that point. RoI will finally be no better than the British Empire.

  16.  @greg_mca  America has liberate Ireland from British rule. It's a civilizing mission. Those British just lack the culture to be able capable to govern themselves. Maybe if they show an ability to handle democracy, after they've been properly ruled for a few hundred years, they join the civilized world.
