  13. I know Charles Koch funds climate deniers with more money than your entire bloodline will ever have. He does so because more clean green energy would reduce the demand(and thus value) of all the fossil fuel infrastructure he owns. The losses he would get if the U.S went more green are measured in the trillions of dollars. He will actively burn the entire world if it means he gets those trillions.

Corporate Propagandists are paid more and have bigger microphones than the science types have ever had. Climate change is a right wing propaganda term(since global warming wasn't playing as well in the focus groups). Scientists just roll with the terms for science as set by our corporate master's and their massive PR teams.

  31.  @jeffsadowski  China has half the world's population. It makes sense they would have more emissions than anyone else. Even still, A fifth of their emissions are made at the behest of western corporations looking to extract more wealth off the backs of workers and the environment.
