  16. The war on drugs did literally nothing to stop the largest mass of drug deaths in U.S history (the opioid epidemic). At least a single corporation got ultra rich. But boy was the war on drugs great at mass arrest and detention of literally anyone(that isn't white) who dares to threaten the prevailing status quo our capitalist masters exclusively benefit from.   17. The DRC has been in conflict since its independence. Specifically because it's full of such strategically important resources. Western nations intentionally murder DRC leaders that threaten the status quo. The DRC could be the richest most powerful nation in Africa. It'll never be allowed to as long as that wealth and power cause even slightly less money to go to already wealthy western corporate conglomerates.
