  2. Capitalism makes the most money by artificially restricting access to the basics of life. Food, housing, and healthcare can/are cheaper. But the fruits of that labor are deliberately harvested by the ownership class at the expense of the rest of the natural world. It's a problem with an obvious solution. Capitalist wouldn't do it if they were starkly reminded their exploitation will cause their own deaths at the hands of the rabble.

  3. It's not unchecked. This is very deliberately planned. Artificially restricting your access to basics like housings and healthcare makes it easier to extract as much wealth as possible out of you.
