Except for certain topics where they have no problem nuking and heavily monitoring your web activity. Source: lived in China for 2 years. Was fine talking shit about the government. I mentioned tiananmen square and my Internet was shut off less than 2 minutes later and I got a prompt that my Internet activity would be reviewed.
