All property crime in the entire U.S combined is about $14 billion per year(only about $400 million of which is the actual value of the stuff stolen) Just minimum wage violations in the 10 most populous states in the U.S is about $8 billion per year. When you add the other 40 states(and the U.S colonies like Puerto Rico and Guam) estimates put just minimum wage violations at 13-24 Billion per year. If you count the other forms of wage theft(overtime not paid, no pay at all, illegal deductions, off the clock, etc) it puts the range up to $30 to $50 billion per year.
