  1.  @jasonr8525  utterly insane take. What do you think cities are? A city is only a city when it's a space WITH MASSES OF PEOPLE THERE. Housing has kept up with population. But that doesn't matter because housing is sold to the highest bidder. So the rich(corporations) own all the housing. And leave tons of that housing empty, because artificial scarcity is an easy way to maintain high prices.
