  1.  @jasonr8525  utterly insane take. What do you think cities are? A city is only a city when it's a space WITH MASSES OF PEOPLE THERE. Housing has kept up with population. But that doesn't matter because housing is sold to the highest bidder. So the rich(corporations) own all the housing. And leave tons of that housing empty, because artificial scarcity is an easy way to maintain high prices.

  10.  @jasonr8525  you live in Texas. Which means your housing is cheap because it's made of unregulated cardboard under a system with no reliable electricity, sewage, or water. You need a car because your "city" is just suburban sprawl not meant to last longer than 30 years. You don't know what overcrowded is and you probably never will.
