@RobertMJohnson what prediction? Doomerism being dangerous (by instilling apathy and inaction to groups that would otherwise mobilize to address climate change) is very dangerous. That's a fact not a prediction

Denialism and doomerism both do the same thing. Create energy over the issue of climate change and divert it for nonsense. That way the prevailing economic status quo stays unthreatened.

@spencerharmon4669 What's an example of "dangerous doomerism"? It's already too late to stop climate change so no point in doing anything. Who's doing it? The richest people on the planet are using their ill gotten wealth to propagandize that doomerism mindset into as much of the rabble as possible. What's so dangerous about it? Climate change I think you're trying to point the finger at the wrong people. The rich. It's always the rich. They will burn the entire world if it makes them a few pennies richer than they were before they killed the planet
