The Soviet Union got rid of Russia's plutocratic practices. Which scared the plutocrats of Europe so much most of them gave their domestic rabble the social welfare they take for granted today(benefits that are gradually being rolled back across Europe).

@theoptimisticpessimist9335 Wrong and racist. There are 14 empty homes for every homeless person. Prices have only gone up. Supply is literally irrelevant. There could be zero immigration and you still wouldn't have affordable housing. Affordable housing cannot exist for you because your access to housing is unilaterally controlled by private actors whose only goal is their own personal profit maximizing.
