@carlosmdc9069 The 20% percent that's considered renewable didn't go down. Natural gas(which is what Texas actually depends on) extraction has fallen by half because none of the infrastructure for natural gas is weatherized for cold weather. That's the problem. A problem Texas has been aware of and ignored since 2011. See FERC/NERC Staff Report on the 2011 Southwest Cold Weather Event if you want to stop being such an embarrassment of a human being.

@StylzGTNT Texan Politicans are lying about wind turbines to divert attention from the absolute failure of their natural gas. E.g the fossil fuels that pay good bribes to keep these idiots in power.

@christinaapplesauce2459 Maybe you try reading for more than 1 second. Just under half of all of Texas's energy comes from natural gas. It's the natural gas that is absolutely failing in Texas right now.

@MicksMixedMedia 20% of renewables weren't lost you meatloaf. Texas natural gas fell apart and that's what provides the majority of the energy in Texas. To stay with your body metaphor.
