It's a war not a comedy
1
It's Beethoven's 9th symphony, it's not owned by the EU
1
I think he's trying for the Nobel Peace Prize, but unfortunately he doesn't understand or doesn't care about Putin
1
YouTube is blocked in Russia
1
Seriously that's what's important to you?
1
Maybe for the oligarchs but not your average Russian
1
@williamstacey1032 first when and where exactly did Nixon say that because in his life time no one could have predicted the collapse of the Soviet Union. The west did support Russia when the Soviet Union collapsed 3 billion in aid from the US alone followed by massive investment in Russian industry to bring it into line with the west.....without the west Russia would have collapsed into chaos
1
They pretty much did that in the Soviet Union years
1
@emm_arr well then you're completely clueless and are just talking nonsense
1
@emm_arr so you've lived in Belarus or Russia and understand how things actually work in those countries? Ah silly question given your comments so far it's obvious you don't have any idea at all. Have you even left the village?
1
@johnniehouston1816 I'd imagine how many, but yeah asylum could be an option
1
@glennllewellyn7369 oh it's not rubbish conscripting from Moscow or St Petersburg would be evidence that the Russian propaganda about the war is actually false
1
Too many problems, Russia removed the English language option from ATM machines in 2014 and now western bank cards don't currently work in Russia. There's also getting there since flights from the west no longer fly to Russia, there's also questions about the safety of Russian aircraft since they can't get spare parts.
1
@tomfurmby88 you know you can learn a lot from the Internet but that doesn't mean everything you read there is true. First it's not illegal to protest in Russia, so obviously your 10 year sentence is claim is false. Where did you get this 60% figure from that states Russians are against the war? You're assuming that Russians are in full possession of all the facts but clearly you are not given your comments. Russians aren't a different species, what exactly do you think are the aspersions are of a typical Russian? Your attempt to compare it with a woman being in childbirth is so far from reality it's laughable
1
@OrzPrecursor because he's a narcissist
1
@LindaandMike-cu8qh unlikely
1
Different situation they were defeated, I'm not seeing any appetite from western politicians to do the same thing to Russia
1
@rathersane people with common sense who support Putin? Have you ever left your little village?
1
@rathersane a simple yes or no is that a problem?
1
Irrelevant what you said, you either agree or not with that.....don't bother trying to dance around the issue
1
@almabatekert_villanykorte3387 I think the number is currently possibly less than 25% but Russia isn't a democracy and he will come down violently on protests
1
Try Google
1
Not NATO?
1
Your point?
1
Why is it a fail?
1
@DM-dn7rf I know exactly what they meant however they're wrong the comments are not based on any actual facts but rather a complete lack of knowledge of Russia
1
@edwardhanson3664 the point has completely lost you hasn't it
1
You're right in most ways yes Putin wanted to keep Ukraine poor? Yes Ukrainians could look across the border and see Poland was enjoying success so yes they wanted this also. So the plan was to enter into an association agreement with the EU but yes Putin wasn't having that and used economic blackmail and probably bribery to block this causing the President Yanukovych to pull out of the deal and this is what led to the protests not as the kremlin sycophants claim the US.
1
Does anyone really believe that Putin will keep to an agreement he makes with Zelensky? He simply cannot be trusted.
1
@willyvanroy2523 you're confusing Ukraine with Russia
1
Meat no fish maybe
1
I'd be surprised if Ukraine had missiles that can reach Yekaterinburg
1
Population levels have been a problem for years now in Russia, but I think Putin has always preferred the carrot rather than the stick
1
Are you sure?
1
YouTube have always censored videos and comments in particular
1
@ElayneAstrix I don't believe that YouTube censorship was specifically aimed at protecting children, but it does seem to have become worse why that is I don't know
1
Facebook and Instagram are already banned in Russia YouTube has been threatened with the same
1
Sure whatever you say
1
The only coup that occurred in Ukraine occurred in Crimea where the kremlin seized control illegally. People protested in Kyiv but it was as a direct interference from Russia not the US.
1
Never been to Russia have you. Proxy war? Remind me again who invaded who. You accept the kremlin version of events? Why they've been proven a source of disinformation
1
Only in your dreams
1
I'm not so sure his absolute control of the media means he can shift blame
1
Beer before work?
1
Not true....you really should look at the Atlantic convoys
1
No Putin doesn't see Ukraine as a separate country to Russia but definitely not as equals to Russia
1
It shoots down the myth that this war is popular when Putin needs to bribe people with obscene amounts of money
1
@QuicksilverVM tell me when did you live in Russia? Unfortunately for you I'm far from being clueless and I know exactly how and why Putin is attacking Ukraine. I guarantee you know nothing
1
@martinj2843 with all his faults he's far more trustworthy than Putin, at least we've only got 4 years of Trump unlike Putin who has had manipulated the Russian constitution 3 times since 2000 to stay in power for +30 years
1
I wouldn't write him off just yet
