@AnetaMihaylova-d6f because of debris on the runway not because the aircraft had a inherent fault
3
@PauperJ please the Soviets copied concorde in the same way they copied the Space Shuttle, espionage has always been how they developed anything
3
Rocky Balboa
3
Exactly how are they going to park them at an airport gate?
3
First commercial aircraft I flew and it was ahead of its time
2
Poor copy of concorde that was apparently horrible to fly on
2
@AnetaMihaylova-d6f to TU 144 crashed on multiple occasions
2
Bulk of their fleet is western aircraft....they'll need to pay third party companies a lot
2
The sycophants who support Putin will naturally dismiss the Moscow Times article because of its criticism of Putin however they don't fly on the aircraft. Can we seriously trust the Russian aviation industry? I think not
2
No it wouldn't bother me to be weighted......I'd go further and suggest some of these people should paying for 2 seats

He usually waits until the results of a official investigation has been released
1
Using US money and US technology.....he's just an opportunist
1
@AnetaMihaylova-d6f debris on the runway, it had a previously spotless record for safety
1
@Alexanderius no it's pointing out the fact that Russia copied the Space Shuttle, manufacturers such as Boeing and Airbus innovate
1
Major Russian airlines use western aircraft
1
@SillySausage-mq3so well so far the evidence isn't looking good Russia doesn't have the resources to develop a new commercial aircraft industry
1
Easy to see why they're popular with passengers
1
@rmdomainer9042 we still haven't seen it being used in Russia let alone anywhere else
1
You're going to allow a few incidents dictate your decisions? Given the number of Boeing aircraft in service your reaction is questionable. You don't by the way get to choose what aircraft an airline operates for a particular flight
1
Nope
1
The MC-21-300 isn't even operated in Russia yet you're predicting a huge market share for it? It's not going sell outside Russia. You actually believe it's completely Russian because? The Russian government isn't exactly known for telling the truth the fact that its not in service is highly likely due to sanctions meaning its unlikely to be 100% Russian
1
Russia is virtually bankrupt and China is now struggling
1
You seriously think it's just about certification?
1
Who outside of China is going to buy them? Chinese aviation is heavily subsidized and Chinese companies will be forced to buy them
1
Struggling to make a their new jet and no one wants Russian
1
BAC is B.A.C British Aircraft Corporation
1
Airbus already did.....fly by wire
1
What does Brexit have to do with anything? Are you suggesting that they only use companies within the EU?
1
@charlesbruggmann7909 sounds very racist to me are you still sulking about Brexit? Airbus uses manufacturers from all over the world including at one point Russia yet you want to single out the UK says a lot about you. Over manning and unions? You're confusing the UK with France
1
@charlesbruggmann7909 don't bother trying claim it's now a quality issue when you clearly mentioned Brexit as to why you think Airbus should pull out of the UK. Your comment wreaks of racism
1
Good for you
1
And they'll suffer the same fate as Concorde
1
You're living in a fantasy world Russian aircraft design experience is decades old. Stop claiming BRICS is a political union when it obviously is not. Russia has no equivalent jets to Boeing and Airb
