@ivansenin6928 have you actually listened to any of his speeches on Ukraine? It appears you haven't. He's had to roll back on his original plans because of his incompetent military, but he didn't send all those military vehicles and troops to Kyiv for nothing.
2
@johnwayne8494 quite possibly but maybe didn't understand my point
2
@devansa125 why? They at least have genuine elections
2
The idea with the investments was to prevent a collapse of Russia even today western leaders fear that, they don't want another Iraq
2
Funny after McDonald's out of Russia they reopened the restaurants copying virtually all of the menu......Russians love western culture and food
2
@salad7776 well it's not making the average Russian rich that's for sure. I think some businesses invested in Russia most of which regret it now because at the swipe of a pen Putin took them over. Corruption has also been a big problem in Russia.
2
No very helpful.
2
He talks a lot of sense, too many Russians have fallen for the false narrative that the west is the enemy
1
Unfortunately they're constantly subjected to propaganda
1
@robertplant2059 I don't think so
1
@alexeyamosov664 so long as Putin is in charge I see little hope...he has a vice like grip on the country
1
Antisocial??? Yeah I'd say he's got bigger issues than that
1
@Сигизмунд-с2й because it's a disinformation channel that doesn't report actual news
1
@zachemny Unlikely because their voices will be silenced by the Kremlin
1
At not all Russians believe in the Kremlin propaganda however this is now going to be taught to children as if it were real history
1
So apparently are Russians
1
@Thelostgoldhunters really..why?
1
Tell me how long have you lived in Russia? Have you ever actually been there?
1
@НатальяТерехова-с6х is understanding English too difficult? Putin is illegally sending conscripts to fight in Ukraine, he has to empty the prisons to replenish his loses. Oh and I know of at least one of those prisoners who went on to murder Russian civilians.
1
@yellowtunes2756 no it wasn't before the mobilisation.......Russian troops are badly equipped, poorly trained and have no motivation. If Russia was so well equipped they wouldn't be relying on North Korea and Iran. The NATO equipment given to Ukraine is decades more advanced than the old Soviet junk Russia has.
1
@EcoZen24 vague cryptic statements like that are entirely pointless as is your use of Russian in a comment section for a video in English.
1
@EcoZen24 and there's the predictable response I always expect from sycophants who support Putin. So I'm xenophobic am because I don't sure your opinion? I lived in Russia on and off for 10 years, I friends who are Russian and I have relatives who are Russian so you know nothing about me, you support a brutal authoritarian dictatorship the question is why?
1
Never been to Russia have you that's obvious
1
@jimbehan478 you're talking about a handful of people when compared to the millions of Russians that have moved to the west so many in fact Finland had to close the border. These people are essentially useful idiots who I can guarantee aren't earning a typical Russian salary, another noteworthy point is it's always Moscow where these people appear, even Russians will tell you Moscow doesn't represent actual life in Russia. You've never lived in Russia like a Russian and neither have any of these people.
1
@Gluosnis9 democracy for many Russians is a dirty word
1
@TurtleChad1 what happened to Russia less than a week conquer of Ukraine? Oh yeah they've been forced back and will eventually be forced out of Ukraine. Tell me why you support an authoritain dictatorship?
1
Can you be anymore vague
1
@Soundsinthevoid After the Winter War just before WWII began I suspect Russia would be very cautious about attacking Finland
1
@Soundsinthevoid but when did it become a World War? There's plenty of debate about that, some people say it began with the invasion of China by Japan or the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact. You could say it didn't truly become a a world war until Pearl Harbour
1
@DinHamburg been steadily getting worse over that time
1
@devansa125 yawn......you think Europe is a vassal state???? The fact that Europe and the US share common values is hardly surprising both are democracies after all but don't waste my time with your nonsense claiming Europe is a slave to the US all you're is revealing your stupidity
1
@sucktitles you could do absolutely nothing about it, you either live with it or leave unfortunately the leave choice isn't really an option so most Russians are resigned to the situation and really don't bother with politics in a country where election results are predetermined
1
@Veeger not just in Russia
1
For a dictatorship?
1
That attitude is ingrained in them
1
@daydays12 welcome to Russia where the laws work only for the rich
1
I don't think you can ever predict what Putin will do but for now he must obey China
1
The result of the election has already been decided most Russians understand this, unfortunately some still believe the kremlin propaganda
1
@chocholatte4416 you mean they attacked Russian backed terrorists who seized control of parts of Eastern Ukraine....... stop watching RT
1
@antoinepetrov no that's not what he said at all and if you believe Putin doesn't practice political oppression then you're either in denial or don't know Russia as well as you think. Wasn't there a team investing political repression in the Soviet Union and Russia? Remind me again who shut them down.
1
@j.k.1239 low unemployment and labor shortage? And that's because at a million people fled the country and more than half a million have been conscripted. Inflation is low? Do actually know anyone in Russia or are you just quoting Kremlin statistics? Russian economy is fine according to who? Oh yeah the Kremlin
1
Yeah I agree and I've seen it repeated many times regarding the Ukrainian elections but how can a country being constantly bombed be expected to be able to hold elections. Putin has altered the Russian constitution 3 times now so we're at a point where he'll probably be in power until 2036
1
@Corusame just like back in the days of the Soviet Union
1
@jerrymctwisp6244 really and why is that?
1
@jerrymctwisp6244 why do you think Russia not being a democracy is a good thing, I'd thought the question obvious given your statement
1
@jerrymctwisp6244 Moldova. And there you go cherry picking again the fact that the US formation was different is irrelevant. So you live in Russia? Well you'll have no problem explaining what life is like in Russia for a foreigner. Putin came to power just when oil prices went from $10 a barrel to around a $100 so yeah big surprise there was an improvement in the economy not because of him. Here's the thing though he's done nothing to diversify the economy so every time oil prices drop the economy suffers. He's also managed to lose Russia's most lucrative markets not to mention all foreign expertise Russia was receiving. The value of the currency is less than half of what it was before 2014 and you seriously think he's a good leader? Good leaders don't need to be dictators, they don't need to imprison, kill or ban the opposition.
1
@TrevorCrook-c1s really then you'll able to explain the process of entering and exiting Russia and registration. If you'd the interview you'd be aware that he avoided certain topics/questions for fear of his safety
1
@gerardovicidomini261 I think most Russians have probably figured out they're at war already, watching these interviews you can see people are genuinely fearful of the consequences of openly contradicting the government.
1
Guy is an idiot, doesn't seemed to have crossed his mind that Ukrainians shoot back
1
@stevemichael8458 exposure in the west but the media in Russia is tightly controlled by the kremlin so I doubt it got much coverage
