The supposed invincible Taliban were being held back from taking any major towns or provinces by a few thousand Americans and our airpower. That gave us the time and space to pull out properly. And not have to go cap in hand to the Taliban to help us get out. Biden thought he was pretty smart doing what a majority of the American people wanted, then screws everything up, and now won't admit his mistakes.
