  1. The M240 in US Army usage is essentially a crew weapon as it has an assistant gunner who carries a spare barrel, extra ammunition and tripod. Or do you mean a crew of 3 soldiers?

  3.  @Rainersherwood  The way I look at it, if you are operating the MMG from a bipod, a two man team/crew is sufficient. If from a tripod, than 3 or more.
