I think you did a significant disservice to those brave individuals fighting for Ukraine. The key is they are mostly fighting out of a sense of honor and what is right. It is totally not their fault if the foreign legion is not well run. Foreigners fighting for Russia are mostly all doing so for material reasons. You completely failed to make these distinctions clear.

@Taskandpurpose Sorry. I didn't mean to be overly critical. And I have no objection to you highlighting how poorly (and perhaps corruptly) the Foreign Legion is being run, which is an absolute scandal if true. It just seemed you got into the weeds too quickly, and so the distinctions in motivations (which you did touch on briefly) between the volunteers for Ukraine and the volunteers for Russia, did not receive the proper amount of emphasis.
