  4. Well there goes your theory. Because the Sherpas were the attackers. The Italian climber only used a dirty word after his Swiss climbing partner was confronted on the mountain by the head Sherpa.

  7. You don't know what you are talking about. The western climbers were not using the ropes fixed by the Sherpas, they were climbing fast alpine style. The only thing they were guilty of, was the French climber used a bad word, after one of the Sherpas aggressively objected to their presence on the mountain that day. Those in the know think the Sherpa were unhappy about other aspects of their work on Everest, particularly around issues of fair compensation, which the three western climbers had nothing to do with. In any case throwing rocks at people's heads, as many Sherpa did that day, is totally out of bounds.
