  1. Space doesn't have dimensions. Space is a dimension. Space has extent, through directions and through time. Up and down and left and right and off at 45 degrees are not dimensions, they are directions. Space has an infinite number of notional directions, and a very large number, determined by quantum granularity, of actual directions. This video is not about dimensions. It is about degrees of freedom in a mental or intellectual geometry. Geometry and space are members of different orders or existence. They are not the same "things." Geometry can have as many of these "dimensions" as you like. A four dimensional one might be pay by sex per hour on different days of the week. Dollars, sexes, hours, days: four "dimensions."
