  1. Apple has always sold style, not science. That's a good way of making money: the richest men in the world are just stylists, in cars and handbags. It doesn't add a lot of our general well-being over the long haul. Technology? Jobs just went out and copied. The original Apple PC is simply a cheap knock-off of the $9,000 Xerox machine of the time.

  2. Bad photograph: the first IBM PCs had the notorious "Chiclets" keyboard, remember? And the Mitsubishi Hit-Bit sold 700,000 units before the IBM PC came on the market. Is that included in your "Other"?
