@mikeandersson7962 Wrong, Mike. (And I assume the word you're looking for is "intelligent.") Sharing learning makes both the sharers stronger, wiser, more operationally intelligent. To the extent that we partner with the Chinese, both we and they benefit. Cutting them from us cuts us from them -- and makes both of us weaker. It is a policy of defeat.

I don't think invention is the problem. The long grind of setting up a distribution system and selling to builders is what always stops people. If a company has a distribution and sales operation in operation, e.g. the glass-makers, a new invention, e.g. sealed double-pane units, goes into widespread international adoptions toot sweet.
