"DMZ" is a technical term meaning a particularly heavily militarized zone.

@claudiusgothicus1568 Germany barely got past "Poland." Russia collapsed because of the Revolution -- and even then Germany was unable to take the major cities in their temporary semi-victory.

@yelenashishkina8804 You are very kind to the fool.

@1363behrouz You have the sympathy of all of us who know anything about the subject. Now go out and learn enough to correct what you have just "learned."

AT 8:20, Syrian numbers are said to make up for the greater range of Israeli tanks. This is nonsense. How is having more targets that can't hit back supposed to be good?

Diplomatic Note: Turkey was neutral at this time but their air force was equipped with Messerschmitt ME-109s. They needed spare parts, and the British knew this -- by means which nobody seemed to know. The Germans also knew it because the Turks were trying to buy them, but they were turning them down because they had to produce replacement planes for their own use. The English generously offered the Turks the parts they needs -- and the Home Guard went to work taking the Messerschmitts apart shortly after they hit the ground. Export of die, right?

Starts out old. Bunch of silly English fiction.

Wrong, Adam. It's silly cartoon stuff, missing all the most important facts, substituting weirdie dream stuff like the importance of the English in Greece.

Not. Sloppy English propaganda, Mike.

Yes, it's nuts. It's ver-ree sloppy fiction. Think of it as "1066 And All That," -- the The Road To Moscow chapters, of the funny stories for English skule 'istery classes.

The interviews here are good work but the videos are frustrating: they are simulations, i.e. the work of cartoonists. The imaginary creations of cartoonists, even when based on reports based on reality" are no more reliable than the imaginings of generals -- and those are good tries but never correct. Damn shame: there's plenty of real-life film available. Why not use it?
