@lizj5740 I think I can do the math: they are claiming that the average guest uses thirteen bars of soap per night, right? Now that's not quite the same as forty per person -- unless everybody in the country spends three nights a year in a hotel room. So I guess we get an entry of 40 - 13 = 27 bars per person "discrepancies and unaccounted" in the flow of materials sheet? Someplace? I mean the accounting is not comprehensive if it doesn't have a "discrepancies" line, is it?

@lizj5740 Lovely idea! These guys take me back about thirty years to when I was doing my accountancy degree: the way they keep track of soap they are entitled to move to the front of the line as Federal bank examiners,
