  1. This nasty little lunatic sneers at his students "only" wanting to use the technicqus of calculus. Un fact, his students are right, and he us proundly dishonst (like a very high pecentage of all teachers and other academics.) Bishop Berkeley was right. Calculus is a cheat. Ther are no infinitesimals in reality; it's only a useful fiction. And on top of the techniques, he wants people to learn a "history" of calculus -- but one that reflects his ideaological view of the thing. Feh!
