That umlaut has a meaning, and all you have to do is listen to somebody who actually knows how to pronounce it -- rather than making up this infantile "donnits" stuff out of your head. "Duh-nits" comes closer -- but you can always just ask sombody who knows. That's what, uh, professionals do. Maybe grow up and try it, OK?
