  15. Pamela, You're trying to sweep October 7, 2022 under the rug. Hamas murdered over 1,000 innocent unarmed Israelis in a single night. These were people who had demonstratively chosen to live testimonies of peace, unarmed and unthreatening, on undisputed land but in the shadow of all the weaponry. They paid for their faith and dedication with their lives. I think you owe the audience here an explanation: Are you stupid, evil, or a paid apologist for Hamas?   19. Correction: this will be a model for reforestation everywhere if it in fact works. So far it is an effective jobs program and a good example of optimisticblic policy. The Green Wall of China, an earlier version of this effort aimed at containing the continual, grinding, expansion of the Gobi Desert, has been a failure first time out. The sand has simply blown past it. It's a bunch of old hummocks out there in the desert, Ozymandias 2.0. I sure wish them well. This is important work, and it needs to be done all over the planet. Like Kansas is next. But so far it isn't any model. It's a brave hope. -dlj.
