  1. Successful architects dying of cancer deserve the best health care available, too. Successful architects, too, in the United States have declining life expectancies. The United States is alone among industrial societies in treating health care as a commercial service paid for, at best, through working-taxpayer subsidised, for-profit, commercial insurance. And the United States is alone among democratic industrial societies in having, year after year, declining life expectancy for its population as a whole.

When the flying saucers don't arrive, the people waiting on the mountain get more resolute for a ver-ree little while -- and then they sorta fade away. "Oh, no, that was just my stupid brother-in-law's stuff." I hope that the sudden collapse of Trump's soi disant "Christians" happens soon. Still, I reflect that Jackson was a hero to the Democratic Party for something like 190 years before it came about that nobody had ever heard of him.
