  1. Virginia, You're confused. The copyright violation industry was Taiwan from 1949 through maybe 1990. The supposed "intellectual property `theft'" is the fact that people who have stuff made in China have to tell the factory what they want and how to make it. There's nothing "theft" about that: it's the normal course of business.
