  2. Big thing missing here: the Germans had 600,000 horses to feed -- very difficult to do in winter. By 1942, the Soviets were getting the beginnings of tens of thousands of Dodge trucks from the US.

  3. At 4:47, the quiet lie, "the front was stabilized." Uh, no. The Soviets stopped their advance on the outskirts of Warsaw allowing the Nazis to slaughter the resistance, thus completing the project of September 1939, Hitler's destruction of democratic Poland. Hitler did Stalin's work for him.

  4. This war did not in fact occur. Chiang Kai Shek cosied up to the Japanese every chance he could -- more on a yakuza to yakuza than a government to government basis. This wartime resistance by Chiang is completely an after-the-fact invention.
