  1. "Wildfires" is not quite the right term for this. The treeline has shifted -- thanks to 400 years of coal-burning civilizations. The trees can't walk to the remaining places where trees are viable. Duh. so they will burn in place everywhere where they are not artificially gardened and watered. Um, most of those places don't have water. This will continue to happen, all over the planet, until the trees and the new treelines coincide.
