I have horrible news for these folks: the dollar doesn't "dominate" trade. Transport, or weather, or newsmedia, or Covid 19 -- these may all have great influence on trade. The US dollar? Not so much. Do all those little Fahreheits and Celciuses fight to dominate the weather? Of course not. They're just numbers we use. We could use Kelvins if we wanted to. Pari passu for US dollars. The Wall Street Journal needs to get a grip on itself.
