  1. Charles Koch, a friend of a friend of mine, inherited his fortune from his father. His father made his money building oil refineries for Stalin and Hitler at prices inflated by Western countries' boycotts of the two dictators. Whatever your issues with boycotts, this guy never made a penny in his life through his own knowledge, effort or judgement. Take what he says with your own good judgement -- but don't take his billions seriously.
