What Larry Kudlow knows about economics can be written on the back of a business card. In 72-point Bodoni. Bold.

Well, yeah, I mean Infrastructure Week, right?

Ryan Grim is a pleasure to see: a sound grasp of reality. Saager is less good, all full of his own weird interpretations that he wants us to swallow.

False. He didn't say that. He said nobody from the FBI complained too him -- which is pretty normal. Poor little Tom Cotton needs to get a grip on himself: he's acting like a bad-tempered little boy.
7
Zero indictments for the entire eight Obama years. Simple proposition: an honest man who insists on honesty among his associates. What a concept! Actually that's the baseline on which democratic government must rest.

@jimcarlassare7509 And Don Junior has confirmed the Russia involvements, over and over and over again. Trump's own interference has only kept us from finding out all the details in depth. For some of that, we have to wait until Putin decides he's fed up with Trump and releases his end of things.

@HaveYouTriedGuillotines Fruitcake Analysis 101.

@Iris-hx6ox Yes, Iris, quite right. Fortunately your "if you think..." doesn't refer to anything I think. I do like your "farts unicorn dust" although Trump's supporters do seem to get close enough to the orifice to know that's not what's coming out, don't they? Fraternally, -dlj.

@jimcarlassare7509 Minor detail: he isn't and wasn't a drug addict.

Eugene Debs rans for the Presidency from jail and got a couple of million votes. Trump might beat that.

@JohnSmith-bh8um There is no such thing as "scrubbing the web." You can erase the first generation os something you have posted yourself and some of the immediate copies of it. You cannot get rid of deliberately warehoused copies of your own stuff and you can't delete stuff you didn't write yourself except on your own URLs. There is no central controller over Internet content, and most specific, narrow, individual posts need a court order to get them deleted -- and even with a court order it is not certain that you can shut anything down. You may not be able to identify the source, the source may be outsid the authority of your court order, and there may simply be too many copies of it for you to track them all down.

Quite right, Giancarlo, but the 10th Amendment is not a license for a Trump or anyone of is type to overthrow an election.

Send Trump to Alabama: turn that Crimson Tide bright blue!

@realcourte I don't think that's true at all. He's very very far from destroyed. Bernie surrendered gracefully when it became clear that drawing out the fight would help Trump more than he was willing to risk. Senator Sanders remains respected by all factions -- including his electorate in very conservative Vermont and still has a great deal to contribute to America. Bernie is a statesman -- something people who confuse "loose" with "lose" may not understand.
1
@realcourte I have no idea what you think you're doing, Shortstuff, but I think that net net you come out somewhere in Laroucheland. My suggestion would be that you get a job, possibly hard labor or something in sales where you have to go out and talk to people and make your quota or starve that day. Give up politics for a few years until you've got your head together, OK? Good luck and best wishes -- but go away and leave me alone.

@HaveYouTriedGuillotines "woke" "compromised" "insectionality" {giggle} Your "Well, I could explain their ideological position in much greater detail" simply means you've got an ideological position of your own and you're oh-so-proud of the fact that yours is oh-so-much-better. It doesn't come much stupider than that.
1
@HaveYouTriedGuillotines You know nothing about my "ideology," nor my religion. You are simply spewing stupid insults laced with your own completely uninformed assumptions. (An editorial note for you when you copy edit your own posts in future: the phrase "to be honest" is almost never used by people writing clear honest prose. In your writing, though, it serves as padding between the personal insults which are your main content, apparently.)

The poor dumb Republicans: can't even hold their heads up on center-reight The Hill.

Gym is reading the unredacted e-mails, you half-wit. And just as selectively as I imagine you want...

Biden and his very competent Cabinet are repairing the damage of four years of random play-pen yawling.
1
@NicoleKisa Don't hold your breath, Nicole. And try to sniff robustly. You really should try to stop doing it pretentiously. The Obama-Yellen recovery from the last Republican disaster took years and that was done by competent people. Larry Kudlow is no Peter Orszag or Christiana Romer so that V is not likely to come until after Mr. Biden has brought in a more capable group of advisors.

KC JONES You're quite right that my parents were married. Sorry to hear about yours.

censored girl Thanks for the interesting sample. Yes, we can all certainly see why you'd be censored.

Slow news day, Kim? The Red states can't secede because their two main industries are social Security payments and Federal agricultural supports. They secede, they slowly starve.
1
"Jihadists and Chinese spies" Tom? The main threats to American national security and Trump and Trump-following thugs. You seem to be lining yourself up with the latter, Senator.
1
Bubbles McGee Thursday evening Texas went 0.2% blue. That's still within all the margins of error -- but you gotta believe Trump is scraping the bottom of the barrel trying to find some money to throw in there.
1
@ikdks Quite right. You don't.
