  1. At least DeSantis will bring his extreme right-wing program and administrative bullying out into the open. Fos six years now Trump has thrown up clouds of hatred, division, whining, and just plain noise. Beyond being annoying and harmful in their own right, these have given cover to People like McCarthy and McConnell who, looking sane and sensible by comparison, have been every bit as reactionary and harmful as an honest rightwing DeSantis could have liked to be.
